Four Stages of the Design Process

The four-part design process is a comprehensive approach that covers every stage of a project, from understanding the client's vision to the final execution. Each phase plays a crucial role in ensuring that the end result meets the client's expectations. Here's a brief explanation of each phase.

Consultation Phase

The Consultation Phase is a crucial step in creating a personalized approach for our clients. We begin by discussing their style, color preferences, and any specific themes they have in mind. We also identify items from their current belongings that they wish to incorporate into the new design, understand how each space is currently used and any desired changes to functionality, explore their daily habits and routines, and gather information on specific elements they like or dislike to refine the design direction.

Inspiration Phase

The Inspiration Phase is a crucial step in refining the visual direction of your interior design project. We will present you with different style options, color palettes, fabric textures, furniture pieces, and art options that align with your preferences and desired mood for each space. Our goal is to create a design that reflects your personality and meets your functional requirements.

Design Phase

The Design Phase for your project, which includes a range of elements such as measurements, floor plans and layout design, cabinet design, cabinet hardware, countertop selection, paint color selection, backsplash and tile design, appliance selection, lighting selections, furniture selections, window treatments, and accessories. Julie will assist you with all of these aspects to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing design

Execution Phase

The Execution Phase is a crucial step in bringing the design plan to life. It involves coordinating various elements such as consulting with contractors, managing custom upholstery orders, placing orders for different items, arranging shipping and delivery, conducting on-site visits, and adding final touches to complete the project successfully. Julie ensures that the design plan is implemented according to specifications and all details are addressed.
